A couple of weekends ago we visited Harewood House for the Great British Food Festival and if I’m honest, we spent more time exploring the grounds of the house than the food festival. It had been a while since my last visit and I wanted to revisit the penguins and see more of the gardens.
We ended up covering a fair distance as we walked around the lake, through the walled garden and other areas before returning home on the bus. I took quite a few photos whilst we were there with a small selection that I was particularly proud of that I’ve inserted below.
Entry to Harewood House is ticketed and in our case it was cheaper to attend the event (we bought tickets on a 2 for 1 discounted deal via Groupon and paid £9) so it’s always worth seeing what’s on. You can find out more about the House, the Grounds, entry prices and forthcoming events on their website.
